* LEAD Ted is not dead! Thanks to a steering committee and some qualified teachers, the Broken Hill Environmental Lead Program will be introducing a new curriculum-aligned, teacher-led LeadSmart Program in schools. * A young lady from White Cliffs has taken out first prize in two categories of this year’s Life and Light in the Western Region Photography Competition, and this probably won’t be the last we hear of this young gun of the lens.

* A local dance teacher who has been toe tapping and leading others to great heights for 68 years was recognised by her appreciative students and their families on Saturday.
