The former NSW Water Commissioner for the Office of Water believes the proposed pipeline is not the best way to guarantee Broken Hill’s water security.
Not putting embargoes on a couple of the small flow events in the Barwon-Darling – when Broken Hill’s water supply was below 18 months – has resulted in damage to the lakes system, according to the former NSW Office of Water Commissioner.
