* Two women allegedly groped by a man this week, each in separate incidents, have given police similar descriptions of their assailant.

* A young woman has been charged by police with pushing her grandmother over and causing her to break her shoulder. The incident was alleged to have happened during a family argument at a home in Railway Town.

*This year’s Emergency Services Charity Ball was the best yet, according to the organisers who said it attracted 170 guests and raised a significant amount of money to try and save Silverlea.
