* The Quota Club of Broken Hill will hold its Father’s Day Homemade Pastie and Cake Stall on Saturday, September 1 at the front of Newsworld in Oxide Street at 8am.

* The Perfect Light Film Festival is returning to Broken Hill, this year presented by the city’s new law firm, Redenbach Lee Lawyers. With the festival in its second year, there is plenty more planned for the program. * Residents keen to see the full results of City Council’s Community Satisfaction Survey can now do so at council’s website. The survey was conducted in conjunction with IRIS Research, and saw over 300 locals contacted at random by phone to give their feedback on various aspects of Council and the city itself.
