* In light of the Quarterly Budget review, it seems the Civic Centre redevelopment has contributed to a large portion of the litigation fees in Council’s budget. PAGE 5

* Our local MP, Mark Coulton, has announced that Silverlea Early Childhood Services will receive its emergency funding shortly. The service was in danger of having to close if it did not receive it by the end of the year. PAGE 3

* The Anglican Church will conduct an All Souls Day service on Saturday at the St James Church. The special service will be held at St James by the Park at 9.30am.

* A member of the Cottage Craft program at LiveBetter has been sewing up a storm to help orphaned joeys at RRANA.
